# Website is showing a default webpage

If you have uploaded your webpage but you still see a default page similar to the following image

             ![](https://nexicom.net/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/default.jpg)

The most likely cause for this is a duplicate index file. Look in the file manager and make sure you don’t have two index files with a different extension (ie. index.php, index.html). if you have two index files, rename or delete the default index file.
