Dear Nexicom Customer,

Please Read: IMPORTANT Announcement from Nexicom

As a valued Nexicom customer we wanted to inform you of a recent change in industry pricing that has directly affected how we are able to deliver our telecommunications services in your area. Currently your Nexicom services have been provided using a leased copper loop infrastructure from a major third-party supplier.

A recent Canadian Radio-Television & Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) decision #2018-200, has unregulated this loop service allowing the third-party supplier to announce effective June 1, 2019, that the cost of this service will increase over 100%.

What does this mean to you, our customer?

As a result of the CRTC decision and the third-party’s subsequent egregious rate increase effective immediately, Nexicom will no longer sell any new services based on these copper loop circuits to our customers in the Peterborough and Lindsay markets.
